Farm Themed 1st Birthday Party

Themed Birthday Party

Putting together a farm themed 1st birthday party for beautiful little Sienna was so much fun.  It was fun not only for the guests, but also My Perfect Event staff. Our creative minds went into overdrive to design and make a cohesive farm theme for the birthday party.

Adding some of our mini vases with plain white flowers always adds a nice element to any party styling.  It can really finish off the party styling. Keeping in with the farm theme, our hessian table cloth was perfect for the birthday cake table. The rustic wooden boxes also added a fabulous height element to the table. Our fun little cows are available for hire, and the kids loved them.  Welcome signs are also great to finish off your party styling.

Our mini milk buckets were the perfect thing to put the chips in. The kids could then help themselves. The milk buckets looked great sitting on the fake grass table runners, and continued the farm theme party.

farm theme decoration

Fun and bright cow plates looked fabulous on the farm themed table. A giant red number one was the feature on the cake table.  Keeping in with the farm theme, it was wrapped in twine.

farm lolly jars

Custom favours for the guests to take away at the end of the party where a huge hit. The label matched the design on the party invite. It’s always great to continue a style or theme all the way through an event. The favour jars were reminiscent of old fashioned home made jam jars, complete with their fabric covers and ribbons.

1st birthday farm theme

“Thank you so much to Melina and Melissa from My Perfect Event for creating the perfect 1st birthday party for my little Sienna. We wanted to have a farm theme party as the kids just love the farm animals. As we don’t have a lot of spare time we weren’t sure how we were going to put it all together. My Perfect Event took charge and transformed our backyard into a fun farmland atmosphere. The kids absolutely loved it and so did we. Thanks again for all your help!’ Nic

The farm themed birthday cake table looked great, and was the centre of attention. Our large round wooden log was the perfect centrepiece to sit the birthday cake on.  Our cow bunting finished off the hessian table cloth and visually reminded everyone that it was a farm theme.

drink station

The drink station was perfectly styled to fit the fun farm theme.  The fake grass inserts really finished off the drink trolley fabulously. The cow patterned drinking straws were a great addition to the mini milk bottles.  The red ribbons finished off the mini milk bottles with a splash of colour.

cowboy theme party

Cow boy and girl hats were available for everyone to dress up. Both young and old were wearing them at some stage during the birthday party. The custom made red and white bandanas were also a real hit. They are now available for hire for future birthday parties. Contact us for more information on your party hire.

dress up station

Our mobile dress up station was fun for young and old. The wooden ladder was an idea stand to hang all the dress up items on.  They were clipped on with a wooden peg, maintaining the farm theme.

farm theme party

Our bespoke scarecrow, Farmer Joe, was an eye catching marker out the front of the house.  He was holding a couple of cow balloons to mark the birthday party house.  He gave guests a little hint of the farm theme party that awaited them.  No one missed seeing him! Farmer Joe is available for party requests, contact us to discuss your party styling.

She had bought some beautiful duck soaps for her guest as little favors so we thought a duck themed baby shower theme would be a perfect fit. duck theme baby shower melbourne

It’s always fun to add some custom tags to mini milk bottles and drink stations. It continues the party theme and enables guests to help themselves. The first birthday cake looked gorgeous and tasted absolutely fabulous. Guests commented that it was the best cake they had ever tasted.Ice creamToppings

An ice-cream buffet was the feature of the first birthday party. Several ice-cream toppings were available for guests to self-serve onto their ice-creams. Cream Puffs

Custom designed food tags were popular amongst the food at the birthday party. It’s a simple idea, but saves guests having to ask what is on each plate.

Drinks Station

A self-serve drink station was a great addition on the warm day. The mini milk bottles with straws were popular, and even the kids could help themselves. Our mini milk bottles are available for hire, contact us to discuss your next party.

ice cream station

The ice-cream buffet was a hit with both the kids and adults.  Guests could serve their own ice-cream, either in a cone or in a cup.  The kids loved being able to sprinkle toppings on their ice-creams. The 1st birthday party was a resounding success with lots of great comments from the guests.

Wedding Styling & Coordination

Natalie and Brett were excited about planning their wedding down in the country. It was a big change from the bustle of the city of Melbourne to the slower pace of a country town called Koroit, near Warrnambool in the southwest.wedding planningStyling-Reception

Blue and White Lolly Buffet

lolly buffetGodmother Suzi wanted to plan an amazing Christening for her Godson Luca, and so she did. The theme was blue and white and the brief was to create a fun lolly buffet.

We used our amazing fans to create a backdrop behind the buffet as well as to decorate the restaurant where the Christening was held. The dash of colour created an amazing atmosphere in a small local restaurant.lolly buffet“Dear Melissa and Melina,
From the first phone call to My Perfect Event, to my first meeting with both you ladies, you were professional, on time, and made the Baptism feel like it was going to be so easy, allowed me not to stress, you understood my vision for Luca’s Baptism and enhanced on all of my ideas and came up with an amazing vision for the day. When I walked into the Baptism reception it took my breathe away, the detail, the colour scheme, the ideas all came to fruition. All the guests said they have never seen such amazing ideas and decorations for a baby’s Baptism as what you two amazing ladies put together, from the enlarged photo of Christina’s dad, upon entering (who passed away before Luca was born – and Luca carries his name) to the lolly table, and the snow globes, to the ideas for the boutonniere to the photo booth! Every single person couldn’t stop going and looking and just saying such beautiful words for all the detail you two ladies put into the event, even the reception place was amazed how you turned their restaurant around. Thank you for accepting all my stressful phone calls, and keeping me calm and just taking over and doing what you do best. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you so much for making Luca’s Baptism truly what it was and that is EXCEPTIONAL”.  – Love Suzi, Christina, Bill and Luca

Surprise Baby Shower

Blue and pink was the colour theme for this surprise baby shower for mother-to-be, Karla. Karla’s beautiful Mum and Aunt wanted to create a special surprise afternoon tea for Karla’s baby shower. The one criteria was to fill the room with balloons to create a great impact when their guests walked in, and so we did! We filled the living room with hundreds of pink and blue balloons as well as balloon columns and arches.welcome sign baby shower
